“Introducing Blogger Interviews”

β€œIt is my opinion that a story worth reading only in childhood is not worth reading even then.”
-C.S. Lewis

We all have stories to tell. So I’ve been doing some thinking, NPC’s. A dangerous venture, to be sure.

Way back in the infant days of The Well-Red Mage, we authors did a number of interviews on ourselves. Mostly for kicks and giggles but also to easily create content to attract readers. So I thought why not spread around some of those kicks and giggles, and possibly some of the traffic too, by doing some well-red interviews of our favorite bloggers? ‘Tis almost the season for giving.

Therefore, I’m pleased to introduce a new series: pseudo-weekly blogger interviews! Yes, I love all of you that much. Well, almost all of you…

“Pseudo-weekly” because I’d like to publish one of these every weekend but I can’t make any promises. If you’re a blogger (of any subject) and you’d like to be interviewed, drop us a private message on our Facebook Page with a link to your blog. We’ll conduct our interviews there with a little back and forth messaging. Interviews will include links to your blog and it’s encouraged that you reblog them there.

Also, and I’m just going to throw this out there (so you can throw it away, if you like), interviewees are welcome to submit any guest reviews as well and officially become a Mage. That’s not mandatory for an interview, though, so stop that cold sweat!allthemagesblackI’ve already got a first interviewee lined up but I’ll be doing each interview in the order that they’re received. First come, first served and all that.

So what do you say, bloggers? Ready for some kicks and giggles?

  1. No Facebook page yet, but since hell has officially frozen over – I guess it’s time for me to have one.
I’d like to participate it this, but only after the NaNo madness is done…and my head is cleared from this travesty of an election, LOL!

I’ll definitely enjoy reading the interviews! Great way to get to know my fellow bloggers who happen to be gamers…or, is that fellow gamers who happen to be bloggers? Works either way, I suppose.

    • Welcome aboard! I believe you’re the eighth or so requestee so that would put our interview several weeks out (unless I can start managing these biweekly. Well after NaNoWriMo is done, to be sure. Glad you’re taking interest and enjoying the series as much as me! We’ll just need to figure out how to conduct the interview as I’ve used FB messenger to do the back and forth. Any other options viable for you?

      • Well, most gamers that I know use Steam and it has a decent enough chat window, as does Enjin (guild-hosting site). I’ve been thinking of making a new Enjin site for my guild info, but it seems to be a site that is more easily hacked than others! I had to delete my original guild-site after a year, due to strange and unexplained glitches with everything including account subscription and payments.
