Happy October, NPC’s!
Thank you for your continued perusal of these pages. With your frequent visits, The Well-Red Mage has been able to reach 20k hits since our inception in February. Our output hasn’t been as high recently, on my part due to a failing internet connection (thanks for that, Time Warner Cable), but rest assured we haven’t lost sight of our goals. That irresistible encroacher called Life with its duties and responsibilities must needs take precedence, as well, though I’ll hope it might be a bit of clarification for my fellow bloggers to realize with me that blogging is a part of Life and not something Life distracts from.
Here’s a breakdown of what we’ve reached thus far and I’d also like to share some of the graphs of our recent traffic, to emphasize and encourage others about consistent posting. You can clearly see when our posting became less consistent.
Strange that our popular days seem to fluctuate between Tuesdays and Fridays, morning and afternoon respectively. Maybe the transparency will help others.
We’ve typically celebrated our milestones with posts about gaming artwork, but since we are of course nearing Halloween, I figured why not change it up. Unsure about what costume you want to wear this year to that office party? Check out some of the amazing cosplay and costumes below, based off of the games that we’ve reviewed in the past, but of course all of the credit goes to the dedicated and talented people who crafted these unique looks in the first place, and the photographers who captured these images.
Some are spot-on, some hilariously not so spot-on. Thanks, anonymous!
Batman: Arkham Asylum
(Not actually the Arkham Joker but… the best Joker cosplay ever)
and… The Well-Red Mage
Which one was your favorite? You know mine!
